A. Cancellation Policy

Introduction

Consumers are entitled to a right of cancellation under the following conditions. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that predominantly are outside their trade, business, or profession.

Right of Cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods.

You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not mandatory.

If you make use of this option, we will send you a confirmation of receipt of such cancellation without delay (e.g. by email).

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

Exclusion of the Right of Cancellation for Digital Content

The right of cancellation expires early in the case of a contract for the supply of digital content (e.g. eBooks, software, music) which is not supplied on a physical data carrier, if the performance of the contract has begun after the consumer has expressly agreed that the seller begins with the execution of the contract before the expiration of the cancellation period, and the consumer has confirmed that they are aware that they lose their right of cancellation once the execution of the contract has begun (§ 356 para. 5 BGB).

Effects of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received your notice of cancellation.

For the refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees as a result of the refund.

We may refuse the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you informed us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You shall only be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion or Early Expiry of the Right of Cancellation

The right of cancellation does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual choice or specification by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

The right of cancellation expires early for sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, if their seal was removed after delivery.

General Notes

  1. Please avoid damaging or contaminating the goods. Please return the goods in their original packaging with all accessories and packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging.

  2. Please do not return goods freight collect (unpaid).

  3. Please note that the above points 1–2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of cancellation.
